Some moments only happen once. This was one of them.

For this project, I had the privilege of documenting a senior's very first time ever leaving the ground — not just his first helicopter ride, but his first time in the air by any means. The film opens with a candid conversation between him and the pilot, grounding the viewer in the anticipation and emotion of the moment. From there, it moves inside the flight itself, taking in the world from above through his eyes for the very first time, before closing on the landing — and the quiet joy that followed.

More than just a flight, it's a story about experiencing something extraordinary for the first time, regardless of age. A small film with a lot of heart.
